For many of our smaller clients, our main contact with them comes at year end when we produce their annual accounts and undertake their independent examination.

As ACA qualified accountants we are able to sign off all independent examination reports, and not just those for charities with income below £250k.

We recognise the importance of your statutory accounts as a smaller charity. For many smaller entities it is the main, and in many cases, the only document they produce during the year and so it should sing about the work that you do. However, with tight budgets and all the legal requirements around content it can soon become a drab and dry document that is only fit for keeping the office door open.

We can also produce the final document for you, working with your team to ensure it fits within your own brand guidelines and is a document you can be proud of. We are happy to include photos, logos, infographics – whatever you want to make the document look and feel like so much more than a set of accounts.

Support with compliant reports

We can also provide support on ensuring the content of the Annual Report is compliant with the ever-increasing demands of charity law and the SORP (Statement of Recommended Practice – the big rule book that charities have to follow when they produce their accounts) and in a way that does not put users off. We’re happy to work with your existing independent examiner if you would prefer that we just prepared the accounts.
