Andy
Andy is the founding director and sole owner of the company. He is an ICAEW FCA qualified accountant with years of experience in the third sector, including senior finance, operations and management roles for charities such as Leuka, Lessons for Life Foundation and Christian Aid. He also holds a postgraduate certificate in conflict and development.
His expertise has been recognised multiple times, including as a finalist in the Business Finance Awards 2016 and the only charity professional to be acknowledged in the Top 35 Under 35 category in the Financial Director Magazine’s annual list, as well as being a finalist for independent accountancy firm of the year in the Finance Awards Wales 2022.
Andy’s dedication to the sector has shown in his voluntary work as a treasurer for multiple charities across the UK over the past 15 years. His commitment to community service extends beyond finance; Andy is heavily involved in his local Sea Scouts group, having previously helped set up their Squirrel Drey as joint team leader but now moving on to being a team leader for the Scout Troop.
Outside of work, his passions include hiking and kayaking, as well as spending time with his wife and two children, especially on their allotment.
Amie
Amie is our Senior accountant based in Buckinghamshire and has been with us since September 2022. She has worked in general practice for nearly 20 years and gained her ACCA qualification in October 2012. During her time in general practice, she developed her interest in servicing her third sector clients so much that she chose to focus on this area to progress her career and found Enaid to be the perfect match.
Outside of work, Amie enjoys spending time with her young kids and partner, going for family days out whenever they can. Once the kids are tucked up in bed and a babysitter has been found, she enjoys going to live comedy gigs as much as possible!
Susie
Susie is our Accounts Assistant and Payroll Manager and has been with us since October 2017. She is based in Buckinghamshire and supports a small portfolio of our day-to-day clients as well as managing our payroll services. She initially studied drama at the London International School of Performing Arts.
Having trained as a bookkeeper and completing AAT accounting at level 3 she worked for several charities before beginning work with Andy Nash Accounting & Consultancy (now Enaid Accountancy), initially on a fixed-term contract and then as a permanent member of our team.
With the support of Andy Nash Accounting & Consultancy, she completed her CFAB qualification with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales.
Laura
Laura joined the team in May 2020 as Andy’s PA, providing essential support to the company’s founding director. In 2023, she transitioned into the role of an accounts assistant and embarked on her journey toward becoming an ICAEW ACA-qualified accountant, demonstrating her ambition and dedication to both the sector and our clients.
Outside of work, Laura values quality time with her family, enjoys retail shopping, and loves a cosy night in—a balance that reflects her commitment to both professional advancement and personal well-being.
Aisha
Aisha is a Forensic Audit graduate who moved to the UK in 2021 to pursue her studies. The skills she learnt during her course enable her to investigate and interpret complex financial data, and help ensure integrity in our client’s financial systems. She provides accountancy support to a number of our clients as an Accounts Assistant.
Outside of her professional life, Aisha enjoys reading, hiking, and long walks. Her outdoor adventures have taken her across Wales, with her favourite hike being Crick Howell in Llangynidr. This balance of academic rigour and love for nature reflects her well-rounded character.
