About us
As the preferred accounting consultancy to many charities and third-sector entities across the UK, here at Enaid, we can provide the specialist financial support you need, in areas such as poverty alleviation and social justice.
We are the financial experts for charities and third sector professionals striving for success and are proudly members of the ICAEW practice assurance scheme which ensures we’re held accountable across four main areas:
- 1) laws
- 2) regulations & professional standards
- 3) client acceptance & disengagement
- 4) competence and quality control
As part of this commitment, we undertake annual returns to the ICAEW and are subject to monitoring visits. We’re also a registered training firm with the ICAEW and therefore authorised to train ACA students.
Our credible team members who all hold or are working toward their CFAB accreditations are committed to enabling a better financial future for finance directors and chief executives of not-for-profits.
You might recognise us as Andy Nash Accounting & Consultancy after our founder and managing director Andy Nash set up the business, but following a period of unprecedented growth and a desire to showcase the organisation as the sizable entity it is today, the business undertook a strategic rebrand in 2024 and Enaid was born.
“Enaid means soul when translated from Welsh; we’re a proud Welsh-based company and wanted a brand name that not only incapsulated our location, but also a single word that described our team’s ethos. We put our heart and soul into helping charities and third sector entities do better, and Enaid ticks that box for us.”
Andy Nash, Founding Director, Enaid
We understand the sector inside and out, and this is what has helped us advise our clients to achieve better financial standings.
