2024 highlights for Enaid Accountancy
2024 was a monumental year for us as a business; we rebranded, welcomed a new member of the team, and enjoyed working with both existing and new clients. We absolutely love building relationships and seeing our clients grow, both financially and organically, and here’s a snapshot of 2024 by our Founding Director Andy Nash.
Spotlight 1. Hello Enaid Accountancy
Early 2024 saw an exciting exercise between us and Alchemy Branding, as we took the leap of faith to rebrand. We’d been known as Andy Nash Accounting & Consultancy since 2016 and I thought it was the opportune time to see the business undergo a refresh and for us as a team to review our business goals, messaging, and communication efforts.
I was absolutely thrilled to rebrand to Enaid Accountancy as it’s so vibrant and hits the nail on the head for who we are, and what we want to be known for. The name “Enaid” (pronounced “en-eye-d”) has roots in Welsh and means “soul” or “spirit.” Our new name reflects our understanding that not-for-profit organisations are driven by their passion to make the world a better place. We align with these organisations by empowering their financial capabilities through our services and expertise.
Spotlight 2. Client highlight
All of our clients are special and amazing, but a personal highlight for me this year was working with the incredible team at COSMIC.
The charity is made up of two charities (with over 50 years combined experience) who merged in 2020 under the Cosmic name and organisation to help better support thousands of babies and children in intensive care, their families and the frontline staff who care for them. The two charities that merged were: COSMIC founded in 1994 to raise money for the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at St Mary’s Hospital in Paddington, and The Winnicott Foundation founded in 1993 which treats over 1000 babies in intensive care at St Mary’s and Queen Charlotte’s Hospital.
We initially went in to provide financial-specific consulting to COSMIC, and soon after were also tasked with planning, and managing their strategic finance provision too. That whole process included improving their use of Donorfy and seamlessly integrating it with Xero (which might sound daunting to many CEO/CFOs) but it really is a straightforward process when you work day in day out with the systems like we do. We’re really excited to see what COSMIC achieves next year!
Cosmic has recently embarked on a valuable partnership with Enaid Accountancy, which has been defined by collaboration, mutual support, and a focus on achieving the highest standards. Enaid’s team has demonstrated exceptional knowledge and professionalism, playing a pivotal role in developing and streamlining Cosmic’s infrastructure. Their expertise has significantly enhanced our CRM systems, reporting frameworks, and accountancy processes, providing a robust foundation for future growth and operational efficiency.

Spotlight 3. Croeso Aisha
Croeso in Welsh means Welcome, and we were thrilled to welcome Aisha to the team. She has fit into the team straight away and her role is that of our Accounts Assistant.
She is a Forensic Audit graduate, and she brought a wealth of skills she learnt during her course with her that successfully enables her to investigate and interpret complex financial data and help ensure integrity in our client’s financial systems. She provides accountancy support to a number of our clients on a day-to-day basis, and is an expert with all things Donorfy, Xero, and all the systems our clients like to use.
Outside of her professional life, Aisha enjoys reading, hiking, and long walks. Her outdoor adventures have taken her across Wales, with her favourite hike being Crickhowell in Llangynidr; this balance of academic rigour and love for nature reflects her well-rounded character.
Spotlight 4. Diolch
A big thank you to our clients and partners for a successful 2024 and we’re super excited for 2025. We have a lot planned, lots of brilliant clients to continue working with, and we can’t wait to meet new acquaintances along the way too. While there are a number of challenges ahead of many businesses following the Autumn Budget, we’re here to be your safe pair of hands, and the sounding board for your opportunities and new revenue stream ideas.
On behalf of the team, have a fabulous festive period, and thank you for being part of the new Enaid story this year.
